The WestConn Toastmasters Club has been recognized as a Distinguished Club in the worldwide Toastmasters Organization. The club received this award, in part, for having six members become more confident public speakers. They each completed a series of speeches which developed various aspects of effective communication.

The club provides a supportive, positive, and fun environment for members to achieve their public speaking and leadership goals. It meets at the mid-town campus of WCSU on the first and third Wednesday nights each month at 7:30 pm. The general public is welcome. Visit westconntoastmasters.org for more information.
