Winners Named In Danbury Fire Truck Parade (VIDEO)

There was no shortage of elves, igloos, confetti snow and unicorns to welcome Saint Nick to the area.

DANBURY, CT — Winners of the 2019 Light the Lights Fire Truck Parade were announced this week.

Nine Danbury volunteer fire companies vied for the title during last week's competition that took place during the Christmas tree lighting and the arrival of Santa to Hat City.

Top awards went to Wooster Hose Company #5, and their balloon street team, who won tickets to a Danbury Hat Tricks hockey game. In second place was Water Witch Hose Company #7, followed by Padanaram Hose Company #3.
