Writer & Producer of "The Simpsons" returns to Danbury Library
Emmy winning TV writer of the long running show, Mike Reiss will talk about the pitfalls of his second career as a children's book author.

Which is harder? To be a writer for the longest scripted TV show in history or as a children's book author?
Those answers and much more will be revealed during a special Book and Author Talk; "FROM 'THE SIMPSONS' TO CHILDREN'S BOOKS, AND OTHER BAD CAREER MOVES" with veteran writer of The Simpsons, Mike Reiss who will return to the Danbury Library on Saturday, November 16 at 2pm.
Emmy-winning TV writer Mike Reiss has produced twenty children's books (but no children!). In his venture into children's book publishing he found a world sleazier than anything he saw in Hollywood. Hear his hilarious true tales of credit theft, ghost-writing for celebrities, and how one of his books was banned by the state of Texas.
After the talk, Mike will be signing copies of his new book TURTLE AND TORTOISE ARE NOT FRIENDS.
