Argument Over Easter Invite Turns Physical: PD

A Darien woman was charged after she allegedly smacked a victim in the face.

DARIEN, CT- Police charged a Darien woman after a fight over an Easter invitation allegedly turned physical.

Police responded to Hillside Avenue March 27 on a report of a domestic incident. The 21-year-old victim told police that she was smacked in the face following an argument with a 52-year-old female.

The argument was over the 52-year-old woman not being invited to the victim's grandmother's house for Easter, police said.

The 52-year-old woman said she swung at the victim, but didn't make contact. Officers noted the victim's cheek was red.
