Bra-dacious Bra-Decorating Challenge Issued for Breast Cancer Awareness

Nielsen’s Florist to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness month with “Bras for a Cause” on Wednesday, Oct. 1 in the Conservatory.

Nielsen’s have teamed up with Paint the Town Pink and Stamford Hospital this October for their Paint the Town Pink launch party.

Anyone is welcome to attend the 5:30 pm event and guests are encouraged to decorate a bra to support Breast Cancer Awareness prior to the event. All the bras will then be officially unveiled that evening, with guests being invited to vote on their favorite bra of the night! All voting proceeds and the $10 entry fee will be donated directly to “Paint the Town Pink”.

Andrew Stefanou Salon and Spa will be in attendance with free mini facials and Nielsen’s Claire Stack will also be on hand, demonstrating how to arrange the pink flowers of the moment. From 5:30- 8:30 pm, expect pink drinks and treats to be served throughout the evening- this is a ladies night not to be missed!

The deadline for submitting your decorated bra to Nielsen’s is Saturday, September 27th, 2014. Voting will take place the night of the event and for one week after online. The grand winner will receive our signature “Pink Cosmopolitan” arrangement, a $200 Nielsen’s gift certificate and a free makeover at Andrew Stefanou Salon. Two runners-up will receive gift certificates.
