Chase Bank Robbed In Darien: Police
Darien police detectives are seeking the public's help in identifying the suspect.
DARIEN, CT — The Chase Bank, located at 165 Noroton Ave. in Darien, was robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash Tuesday afternoon, according to Darien police, the second robbery of a Darien bank in the past 30 days.
Tuesday's incident occurred at about 1 p.m. when a "tall, black male entered the bank and passed a note to a teller demanding money," wrote police in a statement.
"The note implied that the male had a firearm, but no weapon was ever displayed. An amount of cash was given to the suspect, who immediately exited the bank without incident. The suspect was last seen getting into a vehicle parked in a lot adjacent to the bank on Heights Road. The vehicle was described as a white sedan, possibly bearing New Jersey license plates."

The Darien Police Detective Bureau is actively working with the Federal Bureau of Investigation in an attempt to identify the suspect, and are asking for the public's help with the case. See the bank surveillance photos above.
