DAC Smartphone Photo Contest, PIC DARIEN Returns

"Images of Hope, Heroes and Home" to benefit Health and Human Services of Darien; Open to All

The Darien Arts Center is announcing the return of its annual smartphone photo contest with a special 2021 initiative and is encouraging all age groups and skill levels to participate. In honor of hometown heroes everywhere, the DAC is donating 10% of profits from the contest to Health and Human Services of Darien. Pic Darien 2021: “Images of Hope, Heroes and Home” will be accepting entries at darienarts.org from December 12th through February 10th. Adults (18 and up) and Students (17 and under) may submit their smartphone photos for cash prizes in 10 categories: Heroes, Hope & Happiness, Home & Holidays, Humor, Covid-19: The New Normal, Land & Sea, Nature & Floral, Food & Drink, Abstract & Architecture and Pets. The contest is open to all; there are no age restrictions and contestants are not required to live in Darien. Winners will be announced on March 28th at darienarts.org. Donations for this Pic Darien 2021 initiative will be accepted from 12/12/20 through 4/25/21 at darienarts.org. The Darien Arts Center is located at 2 Renshaw Road, behind the Darien Town Hall.
