Update (Cleared): Darien Accident Backs Up Traffic to Greenwich on I-95

Update: The accident has been cleared.

Update: More commuter woes to report. Greenwich Fire Department is operating a rescue on Metro North tracks in the area of Cos Cob. There are delays of 10-15 minutes.

I-95 northbound is congested for 10 miles between Darien and Greenwich due to a motor vehicle accident.

The two-vehicle accident occurred near exit 10 around 9 a.m., according to the state Department of Transportation.

The left and center lanes are closed.
