Darien Begins Sidewalk Replacement On Leroy Avenue

DARIEN, CT — Darien has started a sidewalk replacement project on Leroy Avenue between West Avenue and Highfield Lane, according to an update from the town on social media.

Work is expected to take approximately a month, and the sidewalk will be constructed of asphalt with handicap ramps at intersections. The location will be the same as the existing sidewalk.

The area will remain open to traffic, the town said. Darien police or other traffic personnel will be on-site during the work.
