Darien Car Burglar Leaves Something Behind: PD
Generally the purpose of a car burglary is to steal items, not to leave things behind.

DARIEN, CT- A benevolent or sloppy car burglar or burglars left behind a cellphone case during a recent incident.

Police received two recent reports of car burglaries on top of the 11 reported burglaries that resulted in five arrests. Some of the cases may be related, police said.

A Glenwood Drive resident reported that three vehicles had been entered sometime between June 18 and 19. Nothing was taken, but a black cellphone case bearing a Saint Joseph's Hawks logo was found. There is a St. Joseph University in Philadelphia that has the hawks as a logo.
Another burglary on Concord Lane was reported June 23 and is believed to have happened sometime between June 17 and 18. A pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses was stolen and an iPhone charger was moved from a Mercedes Benz to a Ford Edge in the same driveway.
All vehicles were left unlocked. Police continue to investigate.
