Darien Chamber Of Commerce To Present Inaugural 'Oktoberfest' Event

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Chamber of Commerce and its Chamber Jam Committee will present Oktoberfest, a new event filled with community cameraderie and festive cheer.
The event is slated for Oct. 5 at 6 p.m. at The Gardener's Center. It will feature live music, traditional Oktoberfest games, authentic drinks and dishes.

Traditional Bavarian cuisine will be provided by Michael Joseph's, German-style beer will be from Nod Hill Brewery and wine and cocktails from Sipstirs.
A polka band will kick off the event, followed by sets from one of Darien's popular cover bands, Tangled Vine.
