Darien Chamber To Hold First Music & Food Festival
Chamber Jam, as it's called, was born out of the idea to better connect the local businesses with the residents of Darien.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Chamber of Commerce's first music and food festival, Chamber Jam, has been scheduled for Oct. 8 at The Gardener's Center. This event will replace the Chamber’s traditional Annual Wine Tasting event and funds raised will benefit the Chamber and its Charitable Foundation.
Chamber Jam was born out of the idea to better connect the local businesses with the residents of Darien. Initially slated as a town party celebrating Darien’s bicentennial in 2020, planning was pushed off due to COVID-19. An all-inclusive ticket will include local live music, beverages and local restaurants offering a wide variety of cuisines.

Headlining the evening is musical guestThe Spadtastics. A Darien local favorite, the musical group is a Grateful Dead cover band whose members grew up in town. Opening band, Busker, another local band, offers a wide range of musical influences including both original and cover songs spanning several decades and musical genres.
Local food vendors and trucks will be on-site including Parlor Pizza, Michael Joseph’s, Fjord Fish Market, Darien Butcher Shop and Bodega. Beverages will be served by Union Wine Co. and Two Roads Brewing Co., by way of their silver airstream bus offering beer, cocktails and seltzers.

Darien’s local fire departments also will have a presence bridging the American flag over the Post Road using their trucks and ladders as people enter The Gardener’s Center. The lot will be cleared and the stage will be set for hundreds of people to enjoy live music, eat delicious food and dance the night away.
Gates will open at 6 p.m., 21-plus only. Tickets start at $125 per person and go on sale late August. The tickets can be purchased on the Live Darien CT app at here. Announcements will be made @darienctchamber on Instagram. Parking will be available at and behind Nielsen’s, but Uber or ride-sharing is encouraged
