Husband James, who I have been married to for 25 years. Daughter Emma who is 22 and a nurse working for Yale at Bridgeport Hospital. Youngest daughter Abby who is a freshman at Ithaca College studying physical therapy. Our dog DJ, a 9 year old cockapoo.

Two previous terms on the Darien Board of Selectmen
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I am proud of the work that I have done on the Board for the past two terms. I seek to represent all of our residents in a fair and balanced manner, focusing on fiscal responsibility and progressive policies that benefit everyone. I am glad that there are many opportunities for residents to get involved in our town, from the schools to town committees, and I am so very proud of the many residents that avail themselves of these opportunities. I feel that addressing issues such as flood mitigation will be critical for Darien residents and businesses in the next few years.
Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it.
Infrastructure needs such as flood mitigation and sidewalks for our residents is paramount. I intend to continue to support and advocate for these solutions. We can’t wait any longer to make these critical investments.
What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
Residents know that I seek the fair and balanced solution to issues.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
The entire Board is incumbent.
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
We support a flag policy that allows for the flying of the Pride flag, the POW/MIA flag, and other flags to celebrate and honor our residents.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
My history on the Board as well as my experience running 2 PTO’s as well as the Junior League.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Listen to all points of view before making a decision that affects others.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
It is an honor to serve Darien in this role and I look forward to hearing from our residents on anything that concerns them.
