Darien Football Coach's Suspension Extended
Video has surfaced of the head football coach hitting a player on the side of the helmet.

DARIEN, CT—Head Darien High football coach Robert Trifone is suspended an additional two weeks after video of him hitting a player on the side of the helmet was reviewed.
His suspension will last through Oct. 30, according to the Darien Times. So far the team is 5-0 this season.
Trifone issued an apology and said he takes full responsibility for his actions. He has apologized to the team and looks forward to get back to coaching following the suspension, according to the Darienite.

Trifone was initially suspended for an Oct. 1 incident while Darien was playing Norwich Free Academy. It's unclear what exactly the video revealed.
