DARIEN, CT — The Tiny Miracles Foundation, a local nonprofit organization that supports families of premature babies, received a $100,000 grant from The Darien Foundation to build out new headquarters space to consolidate all operations in Darien.

Previously, Tiny Miracles held office space in Darien, but it could not accommodate the programming and support that the organization provides annually to nearly 1,500 families throughout Fairfield County.

The new location at 1540 Post Road was chosen after an extensive search in Darien, Norwalk, and Stamford. After The Darien Foundation, a grantmaking public charity, pledged to assist with the capital build-out of a new office space, Tiny Miracles was able to focus their search in Darien.

"We are grateful to receive this funding from The Darien Foundation. This invaluable support allows us to centralize our operations in our founding town of Darien, where we are fortunate to benefit from the dedication of our committed volunteers," said Tiny Miracles Foundation Board President Ashley Mayhew Dineen, in a news release. "Our new office not only signifies a milestone but also guarantees improved accessibility for our volunteers and the countless families we are honored to serve year after year."

The consolidated headquarters will allow the organization to host programs for families dealing with prematurity. The new "Miracle Maker" volunteer studio will be the hub for the numerous volunteer gatherings which assemble the much-needed care packages that go to these families.
