Darien Fraud Suspect Arrested In Westport: Police
She is accused of committing ATM scams in both communities.

DARIEN, CT — A 38-year-old Flushing, NY woman, who Darien police arrested over the summer in connection with an alleged ATM scam, was arrested on a warrant by Westport police last week on similar fraud charges.
Gabriela Enache is suspected of using multiple fake accounts and credit cards to steal nearly $10,000 from ATMs at two Westport banks this past June, the same month she allegedly tried to do the same from a Darien bank.
In the Darien case, Enache was caught with 10 fake Visa and American Express cards, and she is accused of stealing at least $1,500.

Enache, who was incarcerated on separate Connecticut charges, was arrested by Westport police at Bridgeport Superior Court on Aug. 28.
She was held in lieu of a $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on Sept. 7.
