Darien High Senior Goes to Semi-Final Round of Jeopardy

DARIEN, CT—Darien High senior Michael Borecki won the quarter-final match of Jeopardy Teen Tournament. He now advances to the semi-final round, which will air Friday at 7 p.m. on ABC.

Borecki won two Daily Doubles and answered the final question right to help him advance, according to the Darien Times.

Borecki has a number of accolades already to his name. He was named a National Merit Semifinalist, was part of the third-place team at the Yale Quiz Bowl and won the National History Be Connecticut State Championship JV level when he was in eighth grade.
