Darien League Of Women Voters Hosts Climate Change Discussion

The event is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 16.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien League of Women Voters will host "Climate Change & Connecticut" on Tuesday, Jan. 16, a discussion with Robert Klee, Commissioner of the state's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, about the effects of climate change.

The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to noon in the Community Room of the Darien Library, and refreshments will be served afterward.

"Do you support environmentally sound policies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions, emphasize energy conservation and encourage the use of renewable resources? Join us for a free public discussion!" wrote organizers in a statement.
