Darien Man Ran Over Woman's Foot, Police File Charges: PD

The woman said her foot was injured.

DARIEN, CT — Police arrested a Darien man after he ran over a woman's foot in a domestic incident, according to police.

The 19-year-old female victim told police she met Robert Oxer Jr., 21, at his Darien residence and he wouldn't let her in his vehicle, police said.

The woman tried to open the doors of the electric Ford Fusion, but they were locked. Oxer then put the car in reverse and ran over the woman's foot with the front passenger-side tire, police said.

Her foot was numb after the incident and the woman believed that Oxer ran her foot over on purpose.

An arrest warrant was applied for and Oxer turned himself in. He was charged with reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
