Darien Nature Center Announces Annual Fundraising Event

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Nature Center has announced details for Fireside, its annual fundraising event, which will take place in Cherry Lawn Park on Oct. 19, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Now in its seventh year, Fireside promises to be a festive outdoor evening featuring live music and delicious local food and drink, all while surrounded by the picturesque setting of the Darien Nature Center.

Under the twinkling stars and the warmth of bonfires, Fireside offers attendees the chance to significantly impact the Darien Nature Center's mission: to inspire passion and respect for the natural world.

Public participation in the evening of camaraderie and cheer will empower programs designed to inspire all generations through nature education, environmental action, and stewardship.

Tickets are $175 for the general public and $150 for current members of the Darien Nature Center, and sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and individuals.

A compelling silent auction and raffle prizes — including priority registration for the center's sought-after children's programming — will further allow guests to be an integral part of the DNC's mission.
