Darien Nature Center Hosts 'Fireside' Event Oct. 19

Darien Nature Center: Dozens of local business owners have donated their time, money, and products in support of the Darien Nature Center’s annual fundraising event, Fireside. It will be held outside at the Nature Center on Saturday, October 19th at 7:00 PM and will feature farm-to-table food catered by The Schoolhouse at Cannondale, signature cocktails, music, and a silent auction full of exciting offerings for all ages.

UBS, Baywater Properties, and Callari Cars are lead business sponsors this year. Other corporate sponsors include: Darien Bank & Trust, Dental Arts of Darien, Liz Parks of Halstead Realty, Matthew Dougherty Architects, Monograms Off Madison, Sail to Sable, Sarah Weaver Interiors, and Teed & Brown Lawn Care.

Beverage sponsors include: Barr Hill, Boylan Bottling, RIPE Bar Juices, Two Roads Brewery, and Wineport of Darien.

Many Darien families have made sponsorship donations personally too, including: Terrie and Jay Wood, Jayme and John Stevenson, the Terry Family, the Sable Family, the Jepsen Family, the Wren Family, and the Meyer Family.

Fireside is the Nature Center’s largest yearly fundraiser; all proceeds support their programs for all ages focused on nature educations, first-hand experiences in nature, and environmental action and stewardship.
