Darien Sidewalk Sales Event Returns Soon With Local Vendors, Activities

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Sidewalk Sales will return July 10–12, bringing more than 100 local retailers and pop-up vendors to town for a three-day event organized by the Darien Chamber of Commerce.

This year’s sales will take place in several locations across town, including The Corbin District, Grove Street Plaza, and Darien Commons. Additional vendors will set up along Corbin Drive, the Post Road, Day Street, and other side streets. The event will feature discounts, specialty merchandise, and services, as well as family activities and entertainment.

One-day pop-up vendors will be featured at Darien Commons on Saturday, with activities continuing throughout the day.

The event begins with a Shopping Showcase & Breakfast at Ring’s End, 181 West Ave., on Thursday, July 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The event is open to the public and includes interactive demonstrations, product displays, giveaways, and a complimentary breakfast from Michael Joseph’s. Ring’s End staff will be available to offer advice on home improvement projects, including architectural hardware, kitchens, custom millwork, and lawn and garden solutions.

Throughout the weekend, children can enjoy balloon creations from My Balloon Guy, and attendees can pick up free Gofer Ice Cream tickets at the Darien Chamber table. On Saturday, the Youth Entrepreneurial Tent at Bankwell will showcase local young entrepreneurs. Darien Commons will also feature tenant sales, one-day pop-up vendors, a beer garden provided by Captain Zig, and family programming.
