Decision Made On Monday Classes At Darien Public Schools

DARIEN, CT — Superintendent of Darien Public Schools Dr. Eric Byrne announced late Sunday morning that DPS will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, due to the inclement weather and hazardous road conditions.

All after-school activities, sports, and programs are cancelled as well.

This storm has been pretty consistent with the snowfall projections. The only big change has been more sleet has been expected, which should keep snowfall projections lower at the Connecticut coast, but even that has somewhat shifted back on Sunday.

Southern Connecticut can expect to see accumulations between 10 and 16 inches.
