Decision Reached On New Home For Darien's Fitch Academy
The small public high school debuted last fall at the Darien Library.
DARIEN, CT — Fitch Academy, Darien's alternative public high school, will move into space in a commercial building this fall on Thorndal Circle in Darien, following approval of the plan by the Planning and Zoning Commission this week, writes the Darien News.
The small school, which debuted last fall in the Darien Library, had 12 students but is expected to double in size when the new school year begins.

Fitch Academy is part of Darien High School, and students who are enrolled can participate in sports, clubs and other school activities, according to officials.
