Connecticut Weather: 'Dreary' Forecast Details
Parts of the state may even see some snowflakes on Monday. Here's the full details on the 5-day work week weather forecast.

Not one but two Connecticut meteorologists both used the same word to describe Monday's weather forecast, and that word is "dreary." We'll see a cold, raw light rain today and in northern parts of the state some snowflakes will mix in. Temperatures will only be in the low 40s, which is about 10 degrees below normal.
But there is some good news in the forecast too. Temps will moderate somewhat beginning on Tuesday and Thursday looks beautiful with temps into the mid 50s and sunshine.
WTNH News News 8 Meteorologist Gil Simmons said the weather today is "looking unsettled today. Grab the umbrella & a warm outfit. A little mix in some areas going to rain. Highs in the 40s. I hope you have a good week!! He added that "It’s a dreary forecast today. A cold rain with brief wintry mix at the start for some of you."

Fox 61 Meterologist Matt Scott said, "Here's a look at cold and dreary temps by lunchtime, coupled with rain - and a few snowflurries for NW Hills. By 5pm this is done. High temps only in low 40s - should be in low 50s."
