Eversource Construction Scheduled For Noroton Heights Area

DARIEN, CT — Eversource will be conducting construction beginning this week in the Noroton Heights area.

According to a map of the proposed work area, crews will work to improve the natural gas distribution system on Heights Road and Hollow Tree Ridge Road to the corner of West Avenue.

Work will run through approximately Dec. 15, Eversource said in a notice to residents.

Construction activities will take place Monday through Friday, and occasionally on Saturdays, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The work is dependent on the weather and subject to change.

Access to local streets or driveways will be maintained.

"We are committed to being good neighbors and performing our work with the utmost respect for you and your property. As construction professionals, we also know that living within a work zone can be challenging," Evesource said in a message to residents. "Final road restoration will be performed 6 to 9 months after the completion of our work to allow time for natural settlement. Until that time, we will maintain the condition of our temporary trench repair."
