In Loving Memory

Elisa Brunetto, age 86, long-time resident of Darien, Connecticut and beloved wife of the late Francesco Brunetto, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2026.

Elisa was born in Minturno, Italy on November 27, 1939 to the late Michele and

Giovanna (Conte) Ciacciarella. She had a passion for baking bread and cookies and enjoyed spending her afternoons in her vegetable garden.

Elisa is survived by her daughter Josephine (late Andrew) Borghi and son Salvatore (Rosalia) Brunetto; her beloved grandchildren, Jessica (Ron) Doshna, Melissa (Sal) Catalano, Frank and Anthony Brunetto; and her great grandchildren, Ronnie, Andrew, Lorenzo and Jaxon. She is also survived by her sisters Eugenia Conte, Frances Brusca, Lydia Towle and her brother John. Elisa was predeceased by her sisters Lena Martucci and Marie McCarthy.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, May 28 at 9:30AM at the Lawrence Funeral Home located at 2119 Post Road, Darien, CT. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00AM at St. John R.C. church, 1986 Post Road, Darien, CT. Entombment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien, CT.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Elisa’s memory to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
