Malfunctioning Railroad Crossing Gates Reported In Darien: Police
Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.
DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department announced Thursday morning that due to power issues affecting the Metro-North New Canaan Line, the railroad crossing gates at Hoyt Street (Route 106) and Camp Avenue are malfunctioning.
Officers are currently directing traffic in the area. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to seek alternate routes if possible.
"Please use caution when traveling near the railroad crossings and follow the directions of officers on scene," police said.
