More Details Presented for Darien's Corbin/Post Road Redevelopment

DARIEN, CT - The proposed redevelopment site in Darien known as Corbin/Post Road could see an L.L. Bean store come to town in addition to retaining the U.S. Post Office on the site.

Baywater Properites, LLC, and PG Properties are looking to build the site, which is being designed by Robert A.M. Stern Architects. Tighe & Bond is the site's engineering company, reports Darienite.com.

Representatives from the development team presented plans to residents during a hearing Wednesday at the Darien Library.

Additionally, two restaurants might grace the site, as will condominiums and new office space. The project could begin construction as early as 2018 if all hurdles are cleared in time.
