New Darien Italian Eatery Planned For Early Fall
The owners plan to add a Darien location after expanding in Fairfield County, The Hour reported.
A new Romanacci restaurant is planned for Darien, where brothers Maurizio and Graziano Ricci aim to open their sixth location in early fall, according to The Hour.
The paper reported the homey Italian-style eatery is slated for Heights Crossing at 346 Heights Road.
Maurizio Ricci told The Hour the brothers were not initially planning another expansion. But after seeing the Darien site, he told the newspaper, “we fell in love.”

According to the company's website, "Romanacci is an Italian restaurant owned and operated by brothers Graziano and Maurizio Ricci offering all types of "Italian Eats & Treats."

There are Trumbull, Westport, Norwalk, Fairfield and Compo Beach locations, and the brothers also own Osteria Romana, a more formal Italian restaurant, with locations in Monroe and Norwalk, according to their website.
