Rosemary (Ro) Ogden entered into eternal rest on December 30, 2017 in Darien, CT. She was born on July 25, 1961 in Stamford and was a lifelong resident of Connecticut. Rosemary was predeceased by her beloved mother, Helen. She is survived by her father, Paul, her brother, John, and his children, Sean and Kaitlyn, her sister, Paula and her husband Jeff, and her brother Stephen.
She graduated from Stamford Catholic High School in 1979, attended and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 1983.

Rosemary then went to earn her Masters Degree in Financial Management from Fairfield University in 1990. She was a dedicated and trusted employee, working for James River, Duracell Corp, and First
County Bank.
Rosemary enjoyed horseback riding as a young girl and had recently started riding again at Ox Ridge Hunt Club. Her love of cats and the welfare of all animals also played an important role in her life. What truly defined Rosemary was her passion for volunteering. She served on the Board of Directors for Staying Put in New Canaan from 2010 to 2012. Staying Put gives New Canaan seniors the social and practical support to live their lives to the fullest.

Rosemary also served on the Board and was secretary for Get About, Inc. which provides transportation for seniors and those with special needs. In past she had been Program Manager at AmeriCares and was involved in fundraising events at Waveny Care network and March of Dimes.
Friends and relatives may gather on Monday from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Redgate Funeral Home in Trumbull, CT. A memorial service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home.
Should friends desire, contributions can be made in Rosemary’ s name to Paws Animal Shelter in Norwalk, CT or the Waveny LifeCare Network in New Canaan, CT.
