Parents are encouraged to talk with their children about safe habits, including slowing down, staying alert, and always wearing a properly fitted helmet.
   

• Darien High School Ranked Among Top 5 In CT: U.S. News & World Report (patch.com) — Darien residents can celebrate Darien High School being ranked No. 4 in Connecticut and 246th nationally in U.S. News & World Report's 2026–2027 high school rankings. The report credits DHS's strong college readiness, test performance, and graduation rate, based on 2023–2024 data. The school maintains the same impressive state ranking as last year.
   

• Man Charged In 2025 Theft Of Mercedes-Benz: Darien Police (patch.com) — Darien police say DNA evidence has linked a New Britain man to the 2025 theft of an unlocked Mercedes-Benz SUV from a Pear Tree Point Road driveway. The vehicle was later recovered in New Britain, and the suspect now faces multiple charges and remains in custody on bond. Residents are reminded, once again, to secure vehicles and remove keys.
