PD: $8k Rolex Reported Stolen at Darien Gym

A woman said her diamond-encrusted Rolex watch valued at $7,945 went missing from the Equinox gym.

The woman said she left the watch in the cup holder of her treadmill on Sept. 18. She arrived at noon and worked out for about 45 minutes, police said.

She didn’t realize the watch was missing until 1:30 p.m. which is when she called the gym and staff searched but couldn’t immediately locate it.

She reported the watch as stolen to police on Sept. 23.

The investigation continues.
