Royle Elementary Jumps Rope To Success

Royle Elementary raised an amazing $24,185 for the American Heart Association.

Royle Elementary has once again achieved amazing results by raising over $24,000 for the American Heart Association.

For the seventh year in a row, the Royle Elementary community has come together to support the annual Jump Rope for Heart event, once again exceeding all expectations with their generosity.

Jill Cardamone, the Physical Education teacher at Royle, has organized the event each year since it began seven years ago and is never disappointed with what the children manage to achieve. “Every year I’m so proud to be part of the Royle family, and I’d like to thank the parents and the kids for their amazing generosity.” Mrs. Cardamone said, and went on to explain that all the money raised goes towards research. “For every $50 we raise, we save a life, which means the kids here saved 484 lives this year!”

Apart from raising money, the event also raises awareness among the children about the importance of keeping their hearts healthy by encouraging them to exercise and make healthy choices about what they eat.
