SoundWaters Flotilla launches this Saturday, July 14th
Paddle to protect LI Sound in the 4-mile SoundWaters Flotilla on July 14th
Join in the SoundWaters Flotilla to protect Long Island Sound this Saturday July 14th at 8:30AM. Kayakers and paddleboarders will launch from Weed Beach and Cove Island Park in Stamford and paddle together with a favorable tide in a colorful 4-mile flotilla to Stamford Harbor. There they will celebrate with food, music and a fun summer beach party.
You will explore 4 miles of CT coastline with no return paddle required - SoundWaters will provide return transport back to the starting point following a beautiful morning on the water. Support boats will provide refreshments along the way, including waters and snacks from Captain John's Tiki Tours' floating tiki hut.
For more details or to join the paddle, visit SoundWatersFlotilla.org or call 203 406 3303.

The Flotilla is sponsored by SoundWaters with support from Legg Mason Global Asset Management. SoundWaters is a non-profit focused on protecting Long Island Sound through education. Each year, they teach over 32,000 students from across Connecticut about Long Island Sound. Those students will grow up to be the adults who protect Long Island Sound for generations to come. The SoundWaters Flotilla is also supported by DownUnder, Darien Neighbors Magazine and Hey Stamford! SoundWatersFlotilla.org.
