Stevenson And Wood To Host 'Bring It Home' Conversation In Darien

The coffee discussion event is scheduled for tomorrow at 9 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 23.

DARIEN, CT — First Selectman Jayme Stevenson and state Rep. Terrie Wood (R-141st) will host a "Bring It Home" conversation on Gov. Ned Lamont's recently proposed budget and other topics on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 9 a.m. at the McGuane Field House in McGuane Park in Darien. The event is free and open to the public.

"BRING IT HOME is a series of informal conversations designed for you and your friends to discuss state and local issues that impact residents of Darien," wrote the Darien Republican Town Committee, the event's organizer, in a statement. "Come find out what's going on and share your ideas!"

In addition to the budget, the event also will include discussion of regionalism and various recently proposed bills in the state General Assembly.
