An officer on patrol gave chase to the suspect, who ran into the Darien Social and straight into a group of officers having dinner.

A man suspected of stealing about $800 worth of caffeine-infused products from a Darien CVS was arrested after running into a group of officers out for dinner.

An officer was on patrol and spotted a man at CVS who matched the suspect’s description on June 11 around 9:30 p.m., police said.
