The PR Firm

For those parents of Special Ed. Kids who are now expecting the BOE to really respond to your children's needs, ponder what the BOE's hiring of a PR firm really means. What it means is that the BOE is looking to spin its way out of this scandal. Hiring the PR firm through the BOE's law firm was probably done to provide attorney client privilege to communications with the PR firm. The problem with the spin strategy is that the Gamm Report, detailing pervasive law breaking and even criminality, is, among other more serious disasters, a public relations disaster. These contrived, idiotic letters and postings by former BOE members like Boulton, Plutte, Sartori et al. aren't going to save the day. Parents, you have these characters by their sub committees. You have a damning report by an attorney and expert in the field which was authorized by the potential defendants. The BOE should be raising a white flag over 35 Leroy with WE WILL SETTLE on it. Parents, use your strength now. The PR firm means the BOE thinks they can "handle" you. They can only if you let them. Stay tuned. Walter Casey.
