Thunderstorms And Showers In Connecticut's Weekend Forecast

If you have outdoor weekend plans, here's the latest update on when to expect the "unsettled" and stormy weather.

If you have outdoor weekend plans, your best bet is Sunday, as you’re looking at plenty of sunshine and comfortable temps. As for Saturday’s weather, Connecticut will see showers and thunderstorms, especially in the morning and early afternoon hours. The good news is that the rain isn’t expected to be an all-day event, and the sun may even poke its head out later on Saturday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Hartford and Tolland counties, stating, “A few strong thunderstorms are possible Saturday. The main threats will be strong to damaging winds and locally heavy rainfall.”

Showers and thunderstorms are also in the forecast for southern Connecticut on Saturday too.
