Federal Disaster Declaration for Tropical Storm Ida

Governor Lamont’s request for a federal disaster declaration for Tropical Storm Ida was approved by President Biden on October 30, 2021. In response, the Town of Darien has added a Storm Ida FEMA information page to our website (www.darienct.gov/fema). We have accumulated available information from both FEMA and the US Small Business Administration, including the application process and associated deadlines. This page will be updated as new information becomes available.

The Disaster Assistance application deadline is Wednesday, December 29th. Please visit the Town of Darien website and www.disasterassistance.gov for more information.
