Traffic Advisory Issued For Upcoming Push-N-Pull Parade In Darien

Police said residents should use alternate routes during these times and expect delays.

DARIEN, CT — The Darien Police Department has issued a traffic advisory for the upcoming Push-n-Pull Parade, which is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. on July 4 at Darien High School.

Noroton Avenue in the area of DHS to West Elm Street (McGuane Field) will be closed from approximately 10:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, July 4.

Police said residents should use alternate routes during these times and expect delays.

The morning will begin with a Declaration Day ceremony at 9:30 a.m. in the Darien High School courtyard.

Families participating in the parade should arrive at DHS by 9:45 a.m. Contest winners will be announced at 10:20 a.m., and the parade steps off at 10:30 a.m.

The parade route will travel from DHS to Noroton Avenue and conclude at VFW Post 6933.
