Two Darien Teens Compete in Jeopardy! Teen Tournament
Jeopardy! - America's Favorite Quiz Show
Darien teens Michael Borecki of Darien High School and Porter Bowman of St. Luke’s School, both competed in this year's Jeopardy! Teen Tournament. The Tournament was recorded on a remote Jeopardy! set at DAR Constitution Hall, April 12 & 13, rather than the usual LA studio. All ten episodes were taped in two days, for future broadcast, as they narrowed the field from 15 to 9 to 3 to Tournament Champion.
Michael and Porter were teammates on the Middlesex Middle School Quiz Bowl Team and are currently members of the DHS and SLS teams. Most of the teens in the Jeopardy! tournament are members of their school's quiz bowl teams.
They competed for a $100,000 grand prize, $50,000 second prize and $25,000 third prize.

We can’t report any details on the tournament or who won or lost until ABC airs the show this fall (tentatively scheduled for the weeks of September 12 & 19). Win or lose, it was a dream come true to meet Alex Trebek.
