Video: Darien Teen Arrested for Snapchat Gun Video
The video made its way onto YouTube via a media outlet this week. It was originally filmed on the app Snapchat.
DARIEN, CT- Video of a Darien teen who is allegedly wielding a real gun has made its way to the public.
The Darien Times obtained the video, which shows a teen wearing a bandanna over his face. He waves around a gun and appears to issue threats, but the audio has been removed.

The school resource officer assigned to the high school was made aware of the social media Snapchat video on March 4. The SRO was able to identify a student who may have had some involvement with the video. The student became combative and was transported to police headquarters. The video wasn't filmed at the high school.
The Darien student was charged with breach of peace, making a false statement and interfering with police. He was remanded to the Bridgeport Juvenile Youth Detention Facility.
