DARIEN, CT — The Great Island Advisory Committee and Reed Hilderbrand, a landscape achitecture firm, have launched a new website dedicated to the Great Island Vision Plan.

Residents can visit the site to stay current on Great Island news related to community engagement, including upcoming resident workshops. The first page of the website has a QR code for the first community survey, which closes on Oct. 15.

The vision and master planning process is expected to take a year to complete, according to Reed Hilderbrand officials. The process will revitalize the 60-plus acre Great Island property and transform the historically significant landscape into an ecologically sustainable public space that connects the community to the water.
