Your Guide to the Darien Fireworks
Information on traffic, parking, etc. for the event.
Darien fireworks are scheduled for July 3 at the high school with a rain date of July 5.
All parking in the high school lot will be with a pre-paid permit only. It must be visible at the time of parking. Parking passes are on sale at Town Hall between June 22 and July 2. They are $25 and guarantee a spot on campus at the high school.
Traffic will enter the high school grounds via Noroton Avenue. Vehicles won’t be allowed to enter until 6:30 p.m.

There are a limited number of handicap spots.
There will be about 34 police officers stationed at various points to help regulate parking. Vehicles can be towed away if they are parked in tow-away zones.

Other parking spots:
- No parking on Noroton Ave.
- Parking on south side facing Middlesex school on Holly Lane.
- Parking on west side of Libby Lane.
- There are also parking lots at Middlesex Middle School and McGuane Field.
No alcoholic beverages will be allowed on school property.
Parents won’t be allowed to pick-up their children in the high school area until after the roads are clear. Police suggest that parents arrange a pickup site.
All bags, backpacks, etc. will be subject to inspection.
