• Transfer Station Reopens In Derby: City (patch.com) — Derby residents can once again use the city transfer station on Pine Street after storm damage forced a two-day closure, but only household trash, regular garbage, cardboard and recyclables are currently accepted. Construction debris and other chargeable items are temporarily banned while the scale is without power, and residents with questions are urged to call Derby Public Works for updates.
