Congratulations to Sue Cummings for submitting the winning design for the 2013 Durham Fair poster contest. Through a combination of online survey and open house voting, over 700 votes from Durham and Middlefield residents were cast.
A drawing of Deerfield Farm is the backdrop to the poster and is the logo of the Durham Agricultural Society logo which Sue had designed. She also wanted to showcase all the fun things that there is to do at the fair. She has included pictures of vegetables that she exhibits, kids on rides in the pouring rain, horse pulls and the popular giant pumpkins.
Sue has been a volunteer at the Durham Fair for the past 20 years and is excited to have her design be the 94th Annual Durham Fair Poster.
