Annual PUMPKIN PATCH FUNDRAISER AT Clinton UMC

Annual PUMPKIN PATCH Fundraiser at Clinton United Methodist Church 12 Commerce Street Clinton Ct 06413

Our truck load of pumpkins consisted of 1164 large pumpkins and many, many more gourds, smaller pumpkins, pie pumpkins and minis! The local Boy Scout Troop #55 headed up by Scoutmaster Joe Emack, came to help us unload them into our field for sale during this coming month of October. Many parishoners came and brought friends to help unload all of these beautiful orange pumpkins! It was an awesome - tiring day.

One of the messages that came along with the pumpkins was from the headquarters. They informed us that over the last 39 years, more than $50,000,000 has been raised just from the sale of pumpkins in pumpkin patches throughout the United States just like ours!! I thought that was an incredible number and feel very proud that we are a part of that mission outreach!

This is our 4th Pumpkin Patch, and will share the profits with the Navajo Indians of Farmington, New Mexico. I look forward to renewing friendships of people that have come to our prior pumpkin patches.
