We will discuss The Testament of Mary, by Colm Toibin. This short novel won the Man Booker prize for literature in 2012, was adapted as a one-woman show on Broadway, which received three Tony nominations, and continues to challenge readers. It is available for Kindle for under $10 and also available through the public library. It’s a quick read that will stay with you long after you finish reading it, I promise!
All are welcome, even if you have not read the book, to hear and discuss the author’s view of his interpretation of Mary’s side of the story.
