Senator Ed Meyer and State Rep. Jim Crawford Endorse Cathy Iino

Senator Meyer and State Rep. Crawford outline their reasons for backing the Re-elect Cathy Iino campaign.

To Our Killingworth Neighbors,

We enthusiastically endorse the re-election of Cathy Iino as your First Selectwoman.  Our close relationships with local officials in the towns we serve provide us with a unique perspective on their overall performance.  We know that Cathy Iino delivers for the people of Killingworth.

Ms. Iino's thorough preparation, boundless energy, and creative thinking are reflected in her daily efforts on the community's behalf.  She has a vision for Killingworth that incorporates the best ideas regardless of party affiliations.  She's mindful of the need to plan for future changes, but respectful and protective of those qualities that make your community such a hometown treasure.

Cathy Iino understands the role state government can play in preserving the quality of life in Killingworth.  She is an unapologetic champion of the rights small towns must safeguard when the interests of cities appear to dominate the state's agenda.  Her frequent communiques to us are important reminders that our tight knit communities will demand their fair share at the table when the future plans for the State of Connecticut are discussed.

Our collective observations tell us what you already know; Killingworth deserves the quality of leadership provided by Cathy Iino.  You are blessed to have such a talented and thoughtful First Selectwoman.  We're confident that you will return her to continue the work that you cooperatively undertake for the betterment of Killingworth's future.
